At Via Institute, we create development programmes for people who want to support, develop and guide others to the highest professional standards.
We offer internationally accredited training and advanced development programmes for aspiring and experienced coaches, mentors, leaders and internal professionals within organisations. Our programmes combine international professional standards, psychological depth, reflective practice and immediate application in real-world work with people.
We do not simply teach methods and techniques. We help participants understand what is happening within the individual, in relationships and across the wider system, while gradually developing their own professionally grounded way of working.
Diploma in Business Coaching
ACCREDITED TRAINING FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO PRACTISE COACHING AS A PROFESSIONAL DISCIPLINE, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON PSYCHOLOGICAL DEPTH, REFLECTIVE PRACTICE AND REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE.
Diploma in Business Coaching is a 175-hour accredited ICF Level 2 coach training programme for aspiring and developing professional coaches.
Grounded in a psychodynamic approach, the programme integrates transactional analysis, systems thinking, reflective practice and creativity. We teach participants to understand what is happening within the client, within themselves as coaches and in the relationship between them, enabling them to make interventions that are genuinely useful in the moment.
The programme aims not only to develop coaching competencies, but also to support participants in gradually shaping their own coaching identity, professional confidence and authentic way of working. Find out more.
Coaching Foundations
FOUNDATIONAL COACH TRAINING FOR PROFESSIONALS WHO WANT TO LEAD BETTER CONVERSATIONS, BUILD TRUST AND MAKE A COACHING APPROACH A NATURAL PART OF THEIR ROLE.
Coaching Foundations is a foundational coach training programme for people who lead, develop or support others in their work and want to build on a strong foundation in coaching.
The programme combines coaching, communication and relational skills with practical application in everyday professional practice. It is particularly suitable for leaders, managers, internal coaches, HR professionals, trainers, mentors and professionals working in the helping professions.
The programme includes 74 hours of coach education, 10 hours of mentor coaching, work with participants’ own recorded coaching sessions and a final assessment. Find out more.
ICF Mentor Coaching Competencies in Practice
The programme provides a coherent course of mentor coach education designed in alignment with the ICF Mentor Coaching Competencies and the educational requirements of the Credit for Prior Learning route.
We are preparing to submit the programme for ICF Continuing Coach Education (CCE) accreditation.

Mentors’ Development: Via Sapientis
INTERNATIONALLY ACCREDITED TRAINING FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO MENTOR PROFESSIONALLY, WITH AWARENESS AND RESPECT FOR EACH PERSON’S UNIQUENESS.
Via Sapientis is a development programme for internal and external mentors who want to share their experience in a way that supports their mentees’ learning, autonomy and professional growth.
In our approach, mentoring is not simply about giving advice. A skilled mentor can recognise when to offer their own experience and when it is more valuable to listen, ask questions and create space for mentees to find their own way.
The programme has been awarded the EMCC Global Quality Award at Foundation and Practitioner levels. It is delivered primarily as an in-house programme tailored to the needs of each organisation and its mentoring programme. Find out more.
